Jaromir Piwowar has represented a number of global enterprises and renowned international companies in matters related to infringements of industrial property rights in the territory of the Republic of Poland, in particular in the area of penal and civil trademark protection, especially with regard to combating economic crime and combating trade in counterfeit trademarks. He has been cooperating closely with law enforcement agencies and the Customs Service of the Republic of Poland, offering clients comprehensive services in the area of protection of their trademarks.
He also specialises in trademark infringement in internet domains, unfair competition, copyright law criminal business law.
He has gained his professional experience working for over 12 years with one of the largest patent law firms Patpol Kancelaria Patentowa Sp. z o.o., where he was a member of the legal department, at the same time conducting his individual practice, gaining experience in working with both corporate clients from various regions of the world and individual clients.

He has participated in many international conferences on protection of intellectual property rights (AIPPI, INTA) and is the author of several publications on industrial property law.
He is a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and the Audit Committee of the Polish Group of AIPPI.
He has been qualified to practise law since 2006.
